Superfoods are highly nutritious, super-healthy, and vitamin-rich foods. Bananas were called the first superfood in the early 20th century for their «natural protection against bacteria» Bananas don't seem something especial anymore, but we know of many other examples of nutrient-dense foods, such as chia seeds, avocados, goji berries, and green tea. Cedar nut oil is also a superfood that has a beneficial effect on all organs of the human body. In many respects, it is superior to other useful products.
Cedar nut oil and chia seeds
The chia seeds are rich in omega-3. They have several times more of this fatty acid than some types of fish. Due to this, chia seeds help to lose weight, normalize blood pressure, and are an excellent source of energy.
However, for normal functioning, the human body needs not only Omega-3. Another polyunsaturated fatty acid, omega-6, is found in cedar nut oil. The ratio of Omega-3 and Omega-6 in our oil is as close as possible to the ideal (1:2): 20.2% Omega-3 and 45% Omega-6.
Cedar nut oil and avocado
Avocados are high in monounsaturated fatty acids. Some studies have shown that eating avocados reduces the risk of cardiovascular disease, but reviewers point out the lack of evidence in these studies.
At the same time, the positive effect of vegetable oils, including cedar nut oil, on the health of the cardiovascular system has been proven in studies that have been conducted for more than 25 years.[1]
Cedar nut oil and goji berries
Goji berries are a traditional product in Chinese traditional medicine. They do contain useful nutrients, but their oncoprotective and immunomodulatory properties have not yet found sufficient scientific evidence.
If you are interested in these qualities of superfoods, we recommend taking cedar nut oil enriched with cedar resin. This remedy is rich in terpenes that reduce the risk of developing tumors at the gene level: this effect has been demonstrated in cellular models. [2] [3]
Cedar nut oil and green tea
Green tea is considered to be a weight loss remedy. It contains B vitamins, folic acid, manganese, potassium, magnesium, and caffeine. All of these nutrients do have a positive effect on the amount of visceral fat and cholesterol levels, but caffeine is a harmful substance that negatively affects blood pressure and can cause negative side effects.
Cedar nut oil contains the same vitamins and minerals as green tea. However, it does not contain caffeine. Thus, the oil helps to reduce weight without any risks. In addition, a 2021 study found that taking cedar nut oil accelerates the satiety response, thereby promoting faster weight loss when dieting.[4]
Of course, all the listed benefits of cedar nut oil are not a reason to abandon other healthy products. Follow a balanced diet by adding cedar nut oil to your favorite dishes, and stay healthy!
