1. It all starts with reading Ringing Cedars books. The books reveal very deeply the idea of creating a kin's domain as a harmonious self-sufficient space for the family and Kin.
2. If you wholeheartedly accept the idea of a new way of life, then "First, choose from all the possible favorable places on Earth your favorite place." This place can be either in an existing or under construction settlement, or a new one, just in the field...
3. And then comes the time for creativity and tireless work for the benefit of your family, your kin, and the whole Earth! Here, the long-awaited moment has come: you are standing on your own Land! Your children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many generations after you will live on this Land.
First you need to carefully study your site in all seasons of the year. Determine the prevailing wind directions, be sure to note how spring water flows through the site. If there are trees, then notice how the shadow from them falls, imagine that they will be much higher and roughly draw the shadows of a large trees on your plan. All your observations must be applied to the site project, they will be very useful to you in further landscape planning.

4. The domain plan can simply be drawn on a large sheet of paper. First, draw the boundaries of your site on a convenient scale, for example, a 1x1 m2, denoting a plot measuring 100 by 100 meters, 100 * 100 m = 1 ha. That is, 1 centimeter of the plan is equal 1 meter on the ground.
5. Place future plantings and buildings on the plan: a green fence around the perimeter, a grove, a garden, a playground, alleys, a house, a bathhouse, a pond ... That is, everything your heart desires for a happy life for your family. Planning is a very crucial moment, all your plans must be “verified” on the ground.
Landscaping of the domain is perhaps the most interesting and very important part of the arrangement. There are so many things to take into account: to make the space pleasing to the eye, comfortable, and practical, so that fruit and ornamental plants complement each other. So that in spring and summer the eyes are pleased with beautifully flowering trees and shrubs, in autumn - with fragrant fruits on the trees, and in winter the space is decorated with conifers and evergreens.

6. Buy seedlings and/or grow them from seeds yourself and plant them according to your project. It is important to leave a place for the entrance of equipment to future construction sites. The process of planting in the kin’s domain lasts several years. Many factors must be taken into account: soil fertility, the possibility of watering seedlings in dry years, sheltering young trees from the scorching sun and strong winds... Mark all plantings with a peg and a bright ribbon, otherwise it will be difficult to care for them, sometimes they cannot be found in high grass.
7. Dig a pond and carry out other landscape work: arrange alpine slides, flower beds, green beds. The construction of a pond requires special attention. Unfortunately, just digging a hole is not enough. The construction of the pond is very well described in the books of the Austrian eco-farmer Sepp Holzer.
8. Build a house, a bathhouse, equip a playground and benches near the pond. As practice shows, in kin’s settlements people tend to use the most unusual construction technologies, such as adobe houseы, houses made of straw blocks, frame technology with ecowool, and, of course, traditional houses made of timber.
In a few years, trees will grow up, and it will already be possible to harvest from the garden, trees and bushes, swim in the morning in your pond, raise your children, be healthy and live happily!
