Julia and Slava Morozov live with their children in a kin's domain on the Black Sea coast. The area of the domain is one hectare, and there is an adobe house, built by the family with their own hands, a large garden, an apiary, and a nursery of plants that the Morozov family grows without the use of chemical fertilizers. People from different regions buy organic products from the Morozovs: vegetables and fruits, tree seedlings (cedars, magnolias, sea buckthorn, and others), honey, and wild plants collected in the surrounding fields.
The Morozov family moved to their land in 2010. To find their Space of Love, they covered 6 thousand kilometers in a minivan, with five children, who at that time were from 3.5 to 15 years old. Julia tells about the first day on her land: "We arrived at the field, where the grass is up to the shoulders, where there are clouds of mosquitoes, and it is raining heavily. Fortunately, the rain was warm, but it was not one day, and all the roads were washed away. We literally crawled and slid in an overloaded car downhill on the road and grass... We were so tired that we just wanted to stop, sleep on a flat bed, in a calm place, and take a break from the endless road. But there was still a lot of work ahead ..." The first years, during which the family equipped the domain, were a serious test. At first, the family lived in a tent camp that they set up on the edge of their plot. They cooked over a fire, tended to the domainin all weathers, and only moved into rented accommodation in a neighboring village when the colder months arrived.
Julia and Slava independently designed and built an unusual adobe house: it is combined with bee nesting logs and with a greenhouse. For the design, the family used a specialized computer program, but during construction, many nuances were discovered: for example, a fairly large slope of the earth, while in the program the house was designed to be built on a flat surface. Nevertheless, everything worked out, and now the Morozovs live in a beautiful house in their own Space of Love.
A special hobby of the family is growing trees, both for themselves and for sale. The domain has large areas with coniferous trees, cedars of various types grow here: Lebanese, Himalayan, Siberian. The family deals with both common trees (for example, magnolia or willow), and much more rare and unusual ones — for example, they recently began growing actinidia arguta. In her blog, Julia talks about how to care for plants, fertilize them with natural fertilizers, graft them, and choose the right place to plant them. She is engaged in landscape design, applying her knowledge not only on the domain, but also in the nearest city.
The Morozov family is an example of how you can follow your dream without fear of difficulties. And, of course, how the Ringing Cedars books inspire people to create blooming Space of Love.
