Alexander and Augustina Chudilina moved to their own kin’s domain in the «Dubravnoye» settlement more than 10 years ago. Since then, their main task has been the creation of a unique biosphere farm that can become an example for thousands of residents of kin’s domains around the world.
What is a biosphere farm?
The creation of a biosphere farm is based on the principle:
"You care about Nature, about the Biosphere. You restore the natural environment, and in return you receive the Gifts of Nature."
- Nature is redundant by its design - explains Alexander, - When you move to your own domain, immediately start restoring nature in the form in which it was originally created.
The rules for establishing a biosphere farm are as follows:
- Plant a variety of plants and have different animals, birds, and fish that match the climate zone.
- No need to give preference to one crop or one type of animal. Otherwise, the natural balance «corrects» the situation, and it leads to losses.
- Do not use artificial fertilizers or compound feed. Build natural food chains where one feeds on the other's outcomes of vital activity.
- Do not strive for large volumes of harvest. Learn to get from nature just enough to provide yourself with food. In addition you can receive exactly the same number of fruits to sell or participate in a natural economy (exchange without money).
There are no unnecessary elements in the biosphere farm: even ordinary earthworms are grown here with great attention in order to participate in the production of humus or to become a part of the food chain.

What are the results of such an approach?

Thanks to peaceful coexistence with Nature itself, the Chudilin family produces on their domain many eco-friendly products that they use themselves and provide to like-minded people throughout the country. They call each category of products «Gifts of cooperation», and depending on what kind of products they are, the source can be specified: for example, honey is a gift of Cooperation with Bees.
Here is how Nature rewards the Chudilin family:
- A variety of dairy products: cheese, cottage cheese, yogurt, and milk.
- Fresh eggs
- Honey, propolis, zabrus, bee bread, and honey in combs
- Dry green cocktails from wild plants and herbal teas
- Eco-cosmetics and all-natural cleaning products that the Chudilins produce on their own from plants.
In the future, the Chudilin family wants to build a new house on their domain that will comply with the principles of the biosphere farm. Now they are considering all sorts of ideas and projects: from a cottage combined with a greenhouse for growing plants, to the «Fox Hole house», the central rooms of which are hidden underground.
