Since 2009, Denis and Anna Levins have been living in the kin's settlement «Zavetnoe». During the first five years, they equipped their Space of Love, continuing to work in the city, and in 2014 they completed the construction of the house and finally moved to the kin's domain. At that time they had a son, and today the Levins are a large family: two more sons and a daughter were already born in the domain.
Both Denis and Anna were introduced to the Ringing Cedars books through their parents. Anna's parents moved to their own kin's domain when she was about 16 years old. Anna lived with them and helped to equip the domain until she met Denis at the festival that was held in the «Good Land» settlement. Denis's parents also lived in their Space of Love, but Denis lived and worked in the city. Having met and fell in love with each other, Denis and Anna did not hesitate for a second - it was their turn to create their own family and their kin's domain.

Proper and thoughtful zoning is exactly what you should start creating your domain with, the Levins are sure. Denis says that at first they did not have a clear plan, which led to several mistakes. So, the Levins did not want to remove the overgrown trees, though almost the entire site was covered with forest. Because of this, the garden was incorrectly placed on the domain. Denis and Anna chose a free clearing for him, but they did not take into account that most of the garden was in the shade. “For plants, the morning sun is very important,” explains Anna, “now that we know this, we plan to gradually move the garden closer to home, to a clearing that we finally freed from thickets.” In addition, the location of the garden right next to the pond is very convenient for watering it.
On three sides, the Levins domain is surrounded by forest, on one side, where the road passes, the family planted a hedge of black hawthorn. In addition to a vegetable garden and a pond, there is a berry garden, a zone of fruit trees, and Anna's small pharmacy garden on the site. Here she grows many herbs for teas, medicines, and condiments. Family business is also connected with Anna's passion for medicinal herbs - the Levins collect and ferment Ivan-tea, and then sell it through their online store. In addition, Denis is now learning a new profession: he is a stove-maker's apprentice and will soon be able to assemble stoves on his own.

The children of Denis and Anna are happy to help them with the arrangement of the domain: together with their father, they level the site, mow the grass on their own using a self-propelled lawn mower. Anna fascinated the children with work in the garden: three older children, even a five-year-old daughter, have their own green beds, where they can grow whatever they want. For children, this is a joyful work, to which they can sometimes devote a whole day. And when it's time to harvest your own grown crop, there is no limit to joy and pride!
