Kin’s settlement «Burtasovo» is a small but friendly community with residents and occasional visitors at different times of the year. The collective consists of farmers, teachers, doctors, craftsmen, musicians, engineers, entrepreneurs, managers, designers, artists. In the settlement, new neighbors have every chance to be heard and to influence the quality of their own and the settlement's life. People from different generations live in the settlement: young families, families with several generations (grandparents, parents, and children), as well as older people who decided to create their own Space of Love when their children had already grown up and they had retired.

Over the past few years, there have been quite a few developments and changes: the settlement is growing, and now more than 30 families live there on a permanent basis. Recently, another new family has moved to the settlement . They live in a guest house while they build their house. Their daughter has quickly settled in at the Forest School and has made new friends

As before, Burtasovo residents are highly selective in choosing their neighbors. To become residents, a family must be approved by all residents of the settlement at a general meeting. Guests are always welcome in the settlement and there is even a guest house for them.
In addition to the guest house, there is another dwelling house, which was built by a settler. There is also a new native resident - a boy who was born in the settlement almost a year ago.

Local residents are actively engaged in the development of leisure activities in the settlement. Thus, a summer volleyball court appeared in the Burtasovo settlement and more and more people gather at festivals, and the program of events is not limited only to refreshments and sitting around the campfire. And at the end of 2023, the settlers organized a local post office and on New Year's Eve sent parcels with gifts for each other.
The settlement is actively engaged in agro-cultivation and the establishment of food cooperatives. Local residents have abandoned the use of chemical fertilizers and pesticides and switched to organic farming. As a result, they not only provide healthy and fresh food for themselves, but also provide it to the community. Every year, the Burtasovo settlement becomes more self-sufficient, which is an example for other similar communities.
