«Bolshaya Medveditsa» is a kin’s settlement founded in the Ural Mountains in 2005. We have already told you about this settlement. What's new here in the last two years?
Residents of the «Bolshaya Medveditsa» continue to develop the tourist infrastructure and attract more and more guests every year. You can come here not only for a specific event, festival, retreat, or summer children's camp. Anyone can visit the settlement at any time of the year and live in a comfortable «Sunny Terem» - a guest house with all amenities that can accommodate up to 30 people. So you can get acquainted with life in the settlement, spend time in harmony with Nature, and understand whether life on Earth, surrounded by like-minded settlers, is suitable for you. And living in the «Bolshaya Medveditsa» is really comfortable, because everything here is thought out for the convenience and happiness of residents. Even when dividing the territory into plots for domains, the landscape of the area were taken into account. Between the plots there is a distance of 8 to 12 meters, which gives freedom in organizing your territory.
In recent years, a lot of new things have appeared on the common territory of the settlement: a separate gazebo for seminars, a skate park for children, an observation tower, and a public bath. Guests who come to the settlement always find something to do: even a simple walk with children becomes an exciting adventure here, and at numerous events, residents are happy to share their experience in creating domains and living on their Earth.
Some of the residents not only organize events in the settlement, but also conduct exciting excursions and tourist trips outside its territory. For example, several settlers united and organized an exciting expedition to the Ural Mountains, to Places of Power and ancient civilizations.
Most recently, on August 12-13, the «Bolshaya Medveditsa» celebrated its 18th anniversary. The program included songs and dances, a banquet with homemade food, a short course in neurographics, health practices, a trip to megaliths, swimming in Lake Allaki, a campfire under the moonlight... Interesting activities were also organized for children: face painting, quest, and a master class on making dragons!
The residents of the settlement say this about it: “Our kin’s settlement is not a community, not an eco-village, and not even a cottage village. We organize a space where we unite families from all over the world who have decided to create a kin’s domain for themselves and their children.” This is truly a unique place, fertile in every sense of the word. People with good intentions came together here, organizing a Kin’s settlement near the Places of Power in the Ural mountains.
