The history of the «Oriana» kin's settlement began 10 years ago, when its founders started looking for a place for their Space of Love. They decided to create a settlement in a picturesque place, on the border of Siberia and the Ural Mountains. 6 years ago, the construction of the first kin's domains was completed and the first families moved here permanently.
The area of the settlement is 41 ha. It is surrounded by picturesque low hills and centuries-old forests, both coniferous and deciduous. Two beautiful rivers with clear waters flow 150-300 meters from the border of the settlement. The territory of the settlement is fertile flowering fields. Now 6 families live in «Oriana»: 5 of them built wooden houses, and one built an unusual warm yurt. The settlement, located 3 kilometers from the nearest settlement (small village), is provided with electricity and water. The asphalt road is still being laid, but this does not prevent dozens of guests from coming to «Oriana» at any time of the year!
The inhabitants of the settlement created the tourist project «Cradle of Aya». The residents themselves call this project a «fairy tale for a family», because its main goal is to unite different generations of families for joint exciting activities, games, and traditional crafts. The following events were organized:
- Traditional holidays — for example, the day of the Autumn Equinox or the spring festival «Komoeditsa», whose roots go back to the beliefs of the ancient Slavs;
- Winter sports games for kids;
- Large-scale project «From Grain to Loaf». Its participants, residents of nearby settlements, under the guidance of the settlers, recreated the full cycle of making bread: preparing the land for sowing, sowing wheat, harvesting and processing the crop, baking, and tasting the loaf. Traditional technologies were reproduced, folk instruments and traditional clothes were used, ancient rituals accompanied the process of creating bread at all stages.
«Oriana is a territory for preserving family values and cultural traditions,» say the inhabitants of the settlement, «We want every person living on Earth to treat the older generation with respect and reverence, treat their native land with care, honor the traditions of their ancestors developed over the centuries and the rules of interaction with the Earth, strove for a natural and healthy lifestyle.»
In the summer of 2023, a campsite will be built on the territory of the settlement so that guests can stay here comfortably and for a long time.
