The kin’s settlement «Rodovoe» was founded in 2002 on an area of about 600 hectares. The huge area of the settlement is divided into seven large fields with dozens of kin’s domains. Each field is surrounded on one or more sides by forest or forest plantation made by settlers. Deciduous forest predominates here, but there is also a spruce forest. On the territory of the settlement and around it there are many bodies of water: a common pond, the Upa River, a stream with two swimming pools built on them, several springs with a developed area (paths, benches), and, of course, ponds in almost every kin’s domain. In the forests around the settlement live wild boars, foxes, roe deer, hares, and a family of storks nests in the settlement every summer.

Residents independently paved roads to the settlement, and also electrified their areas. Some people installed solar panels. Most of the houses in the settlement are wooden, as this is one of the most environmentally friendly and time-tested materials.
Twice a year (June and August) major holidays are held in the settlement. Every August, the traditional «Lonely Hearts Gathering» takes place, and couples who dream of starting their own family and living in the Space of Love can meet here. There are many children in the settlement, most of whom were born on the domains. Some have already grown up and founded their own domains. One of the families opened the kindergarten in their domain. A school is also being built here, for which a plot of 7.5 hectares has already been allocated.

The residents of the settlement explain their ideology simply: «We share the dream of the main character of Anastasia’s books about creating kin’s domains, eco-villages, and happy families on Earth... Dreams of a new civilization on planet Earth!»
«People living in kin’s domains reveal their creative energy,” the settlers are convinced, “they begin to engage in creative professions: wood carving, embroidery, beekeeping, lace-making, pottery, paintings on birch bark, etc. And each of the families plants flowers, fruit trees, and forest trees on their plots, arranging them beautifully and functionally.»
