The kin’s settlement Kolybel is located in a picturesque valley, rich in springs, next to the forest. The kin’s settlement was established in 2010. As of January 2024, 15 families live in the kin’s settlement. There are 53 people, 25 of them are children. Eight families live permanently (25 people, including 9 children). Another five families are building houses in the kin’s settlement. There are families with many children.
The kin’s settlement Kolybel, consisting of the kin’s domain, is based on the ideas and images set forth in the books of the series "Ringing Cedars of Russia"
Residents of the kin’s settlement are close to the ideas of family revival, creation of the kin’s domains and the space of love, improvement of the living environment through the joint creation of the kin’s settlement.
The settlers regularly organize days of co-creation to improve the common territory. A guest house was built (those who wish can register in it), a house of culture, a bathhouse, a pond was restored, the development of the forest garden project was started. Meetings, festivals, master classes, classes of various circles with children, mixed martial arts trainings, are held in the cultural center.
Residents of the kin’s settlement develop folk crafts - weaving, embroidery, vine weaving, wood carving, making folk costumes. Families in the kin’s settlement are provided with prosperity through the development of apiculture - sale of bee products, making natural products from nettle - insoles, belts, pillows, as well as construction and manufacture of stoves.
Houses of various types have been built in the Kolybel settlement: frame houses, log houses, log houses, adobe houses, domed houses, round houses, and houses made of pressed straw panels.
The settlers believe that the creation of kin’s domain also contributes to the development of the community and strengthens relationships between its members. A manor, created with love and care, becomes not only a place of residence, but also a symbol of family unity and strength of the family.
