The vegetarian kin's settlement is located in the Chelyabinsk region and occupies about 1000 hectares, of which 140 hectares are allocated for 60-70 families and 35 hectares for growing eco-products and planting trees.

The founder of the kin's settlement Maxim Varnakov worked in a bank in Moscow and had time to live in the USA. He and his family moved to Chelyabinsk when his children were born, and then the idea to establish a kin's settlement here was born.
Maxim Varnakov wanted to create a team of like-minded people who, like his family, had once given up meat. Thus, a vegetarian kin's settlement was created, where members of the community could become those who do not eat meat and fish, as well as vegans (complete rejection of animal products) and raw eaters (eat food without heat treatment).

Despite the fact that the kin's settlement is relatively new - at the moment it is not even 10 years old, it has developed all the necessary infrastructure for life: road, electricity, water. Another undeniable plus is the forest, where there are a lot of berries and mushrooms.
As mentioned earlier, the basis of life in Tikhomirovo settlement is vegetarianism - a conscious choice of nutrition that excludes meat. Local residents grow organic vegetables, fruits and berries in their gardens and orchards, exchange experience and generously share their harvest. Moreover, growing various crops of fruits and vegetables has become the main activity of the settlers, which generates income.

Life in Tikhomirovo settlement is not only work on the land, but also active participation in the life of the kin's settlement. Holidays, festivals, master classes are regularly held here, where residents share their knowledge and skills, strengthen friendship and create an atmosphere of mutual support.
