The kin's settlement Vedrusia is the largest in Russia: the total area is 353 hectares. Residents of the kin’s settlement are absolutely different people. Representatives of all ages and genders, different nationalities and religions, with different incomes and family status. But they have common goals: everyone wants to live in love, improve the world around them, strengthen family ties, and develop good relations with neighbors.
The kin’s settlement was founded in 2003 and now it is home to 267 families. Among them there are those who live on a permanent basis and those who are just organizing the kin’s domain.
Common activities
Residents of the kin’s settlement study various methods of farming and interaction with nature - improving the environment. They build energy-independent houses using modern and environmentally friendly technologies. They organize holidays, festivals, and fairs. All residents and guests of the kin’s settlement actively participate in these events.
Also, Vedrusia settlement has its own chronicle - a collective collection of authors, in which people from the kin’s settlement share their memories, impressions and dreams.

Education
The settlers explore different educational systems where adults and children become friends and achieve excellence together. Teachers at the local school create curricula for children of all ages and are constantly coming up with fun activities for their students, such as sports and intellectual games involving both children and parents.

In Vedrusia settlement residents hold events that bring the team together and give pleasant emotions. Also, guests are always welcome at the events. For example, in 2023 there was a celebration of the 20th anniversary of Vedrusia settlement, it was attended by interested city residents. The program of the event included songs with a musical group, dancing, a fair, and an evening creative performance by local women.
Also, the annual festival "Two Hearts - One Melody" is held. Every day of the event has its own theme and program: workshops, dynamic meditations, master classes, and the opportunity for guests to communicate with the residents of Vedrusia settlement on a variety of topics - how to decide to move to kin’s settlement or how to make your own nursery and properly care for plants.
The variety of activities of the Vedrusia settlement is impressive: people here are involved in gardening, teaching, farming, production, and even online courses. All are united by one thing - an endless love for the Earth, nature, their family, and their community!
