The story of the Katasonov family's move to the kin’s domain

Elena and Eugene were born and raised in a big city, but as children they both spent every summer in the countryside at their grandparents' house. Perhaps this was the beginning of a great love for life away from the city.

The story of the Katasonov family's move to the kin’s domain

The young people had a busy city life: both received higher education and got a stable job in Moscow. When they became a married couple, they quickly realized that they wanted to travel not in the same big cities in which they lived, but in the "wild" places of nature, which were almost untouched by the hand of man. And on one of their work trips, they decided to live on the island of Bali for a month and a half.

"In Bali we just lived and enjoyed nature combining so much beauty and strength. We ate fresh fruits and vegetables, went barefoot every day and interacted with the land, water and the limitless sky above our heads, breathed clean air" - shares Elena.

Having returned home to Moscow, the couple realized that they wanted to live every day as they had lived on the island and decided to move to the kin’s settlement. Their choice fell on the kin’s domain where Elena spent her childhood every summer - her grandfather's house in the kin’s settlement Belogorie.

"We and our children immediately made friends with the neighbors. We are happy to have near like-minded people and spend time together: to collect herbs on the hills, to walk in the kin’s settlement, to shorten winter evenings, to talk on heart-to-heart, to help each other" - spouses tell us.

Now the Katasonov family has a rich and varied life. They grow a garden and a vegetable garden, which require regular care and harvesting, and raise two children, providing them with a good education and a wonderful childhood.

The story of the Katasonov family's move to the kin’s domain

The family's main income comes from their own business, which did not appear immediately. The spouses opened a family manufactory - they make raw oils, organic cereals and flour, as well as urbech.

"We found our direction, which we like and which benefits not only us, but also our customers. Customers affectionately call us - "our breadwinners"! First on the territory of our house, and then in a separate building in our kin’s settlement we organized our own kraft production" - says Elena.

The story of the Katasonov family's move to the kin’s domain

Moving to the Belogorie settlement the Katasonov family did not expect that the decision would be so favorable for the whole family. The spouses realized that life in the kin’s settlement gave them many new opportunities. They found a new way to self-development, became closer to each other and to the surrounding nature. And what initially seemed to be just a move became a real opening of a new world and new opportunities.
