I used to spend my vacations in the mountains by the sea, visiting the dolmens of the Caucasus. And then it turned out that there was a huge number of these magical structures very close by, in Bulgaria too. My traveling companion was an old friend, a professional yoga coach. We walked 16 kilometers a day along rocks, mountains, deserted seashores, studying the premeditated routes to dolmens and ancient sanctuaries in Bulgaria.
The goal of this journey was to discover the potential of spiritual ecotourism in Bulgaria in 9 days. The last night spent directly in the ancient Trakian sanctuary of Beglik-Tash. There, among the dolmens, we experienced new kinds of happiness and new thoughts and ideas opened to us. One of them I want to describe in this article. In the crowd, long forgotten people, each of us consciously or intuitively searches for happiness, realizing the unique potential of our natural predisposition. The natural compass on the way to realization and happiness is the primary impressions from human interaction with nature: with the world of plants, animals, elements, minerals. Those impressions when we first gazed at the greatness of the universe and ourselves.
The current stage of our civilization is determined by the priorities of technosphere development. All kinds of devices help to quickly solve the challenges of life, but interrupt and atrophy the development of natural abilities. The ancestral estates of Moldova are an alternative to the city, village and dachas. The culture and way of life of our ancestors developed man himself, his physical, spiritual and intellectual abilities. We strived to live in harmony with the environment, comprehending the meaning of life - this was the childhood of our civilization. That time is now called Vedic - there the essence of being was comprehended for centuries and pure thoughts helped us. Global cataclysms and destructions nullified the memory of former centuries and gave way to technologies, which became the basis of architecture of world agreements and logic of social thinking in new short-lived worlds. Thus we lost the memory of our Vedic origins, plunging into centuries of occult manipulation of public consciousness for the sake of easy solutions to current challenges, but multiplying our problems in the end.
The growth of technology, genetic engineering, global digitalization, artificial intelligence together form a mega-system, which already today raises the question of the expediency of the existence of Homo sapiens as a species, which, with the growth of "technological aides, has doomed itself to "physical, spiritual and intellectual disability. At the crossroads of the Vedic and Occult periods of our civilization, the best of us fully understood what was happening and where everything was going - we knew that "he who sows the wind will surely reap the storm". They knew that the lost self-awareness on this path will not allow us to make reasonable conclusions and will continue to carry the "ship of our civilization" to total catastrophe. They also knew how to transfer the information about the Knowledge and Feelings of the primordial sources to a mineral medium, just as today we write information on the hard disks of our computers.
These "servers" were dolmens - the most ancient monuments of our civilization. Walking along tourist routes through the mountains, rocky seashores, beaches and other places, stopping at dolmens to rest, to think about daily and eternal things, communication with the spirits of ancestors happens continuously - throughout the journey. At the sanctuaries themselves the flow of unusual states is amazingly strong, the feeling is as if you are standing under the waterfall of very deep and sublime experiences. Some kind of spiritual languor plunges one into the luminous regions of one's consciousness. Reveries of the past float brightly and clearly, you leaf through the stories of the present like social network videos, and the future is seen in the image of a rising star, illuminating the darkness of the fading consciousness under the oppression of the vanity of everyday life.
Most of the travel time is spent not at shrines, which would be strange, but more often it is walking in the mountains, swimming in the sea, domestic tourist processes, sleeping, finally. But even in dreams the flow of spiritual work does not stop. Good states prevail at dolmens, but dark areas of consciousness are also exposed - offenses, mental torments and other things inevitably appear in all their gloomy glory. They have to be re-experienced and let go of them, freeing the space of one's consciousness for light experiences.
The process of spiritual transformation goes on there like in a nuclear reactor, at the limit of the psyche's power. All this, of course, is an attempt to put into words what can hardly be unambiguously described. The phenomenon of dolmens and other ancient sanctuaries is many times bigger than any idea about them. But what can be said for sure: as a result of this journey I became a better person. I stopped worrying about small things, and stopped worrying in general. When I arrived home, I immediately began to solve the most difficult problems of life, catching myself thinking that where I used to be very angry and worried, now I do not feel such emotions. I noticed that I used to judge everything - the world seemed to me dual, one part of it was good and the other part was bad. Now everything is different - I have no interest in judging the world, I want to create it as I want it to be. A vacation by the sea is always good for mental health, but in this kind of spiritual ecotourism the improvements are much deeper.
This trip allowed me not only to enjoy the nature and ancient history of this amazing area, but also to do deep inner work. Traveling to dolmens and ancient sanctuaries, walking along the mountains and seashores, communicating with nature - all this gave me the opportunity to revise my views on life, to find inner peace and harmony. I became more balanced, learned not to worry about trifles and found a new meaning in everyday activities - I began to understand myself more deeply.
This journey has shown me how important it is to stay in touch with nature and one's origins, because in this lies the source of strength, inspiration and true happiness.
