From August 15 to 25, the second tent camp for children with advanced study of English took place in the kin’s settlement Radosvet.
Children were not only actively engaged in learning the language, but also in scientific discoveries - special attention was paid to the study of the solar system, planets, and space. The children enjoyed discussing interesting facts about space, making models of planets, and learning new words in English to describe space objects.
In addition to the educational part of the program, the children actively spent time outdoors. Daily morning exercises helped to start the day cheerfully and energetically. Swimming in a river or lake was a great way to refresh and have fun. Evenings at the camp were filled with guitar songs around the campfire, games of soccer and chess, as well as board games that promoted the development of logic and attention.
One of the highlights of the camp program was a trip to the spring. Children accompanied by experienced instructors went on a hike, in which they studied interesting species of plants and animals, as well as learned how to survive in the wilderness. This experience was memorable for the young participants for a long time and left vivid impressions.
Handicrafts took an important place in the program: boys enjoyed making benches, showing their woodworking skills, and girls were engaged in embroidery, creating unique products.
At the final holiday there was a bright animation program, where each child could show his talents, as well as awarding the winners of orienteering competitions.
Children learned mutual help, responsibility and respect for nature, creating memories that will stay with them for many years. Each participant took away a piece of the Radosvet settlement with them, keeping the bright moments of the trip in their memory.
