The kin’s settlement Svetlye Vysoty is located on the coast of the Volga River one hour drive from Kostroma.

Svetlye Vysoty is a business eco-settlement. Its residents are engaged in eco-farming in the field of plant growing, glamping, landscape design, and also organize tourist events on the territory of the kin’s settlement.
With the status of a business kin’s settlement, local residents do not forget the main idea and task of the kin’s settlement - each of the families builds their kin’s domains among like-minded people, inspired by the ideas from the series of books "Ringing Cedars of Russia". They also organize regular events for the development of their kin’s settlement, contributing to the ecological future of the planet.

For a long time now, local residents have been planting trees in the Svetlye Vysoty: fruit, fruit, berry, and ornamental crops - in total it is planned to plant more than 1000 valuable varieties of seedlings. A large part of the work has already been done. The settlers took consultations of professional nurserymen, ordered special soil and insulation, and made special protection against rodents.
In addition to the development of ecological well-being, the residents of the kin’s settlement organize events "for the benefit of the soul". They invite guests to their homes for workshops, walks, socializing, and also organize women's circles, one of which was held in spring. The women talked about spirituality, parenting and self-education, made handicrafts, and practiced spiritual prosperity and growth.
