The kin’s settlement Lubodar consisting of kin’s domains is located in the Vladimir region. Distance from the kin’s settlement to Moscow - 330 km, to Vladimir - 120 km. The history of the kin’s settlement dates back to 2008. In 2010 an initiative group of future settlers bought the land from the administration of Melenkovsky district by auction. And from the same year active construction began.
In the Lubodar settlement now there are 16 families (54 people in total). Of them 5 families permanently winters (and there are 8 children in them) and in a couple of years 5 more families are planning to move there permanently.
Every month settlers organize festivals, meetings, seminars, and of course classes with children (games, drawing, plays, aikido, Cossack salvation, macramé). Upbringing and education of children in the kin’s settlement is given due attention, adult local residents see the need for it, because the younger generation in the future will continue to develop the idea of ancestral settlements with proper upbringing.
For example, the first performance of the theatrical group of the Lubodar Creativity Center was recently held in the kin’s settlement. The exclusivity of this group lies in the large age range: from 4 to 12 years old. Rarely, where you can find such groups.
In this regard, the teacher has a double load, he has to react instantly to the decline in interest in older children with the proposal of a more complex task and at the same time to continue the game with younger children, supporting their cognitive activity. This requires having in his arsenal a large stock of games with several variants of different complexity, stories, riddles, it is necessary to constantly rearrange the lesson plan and even improvise.
As a result, the group mastered complex dance and vocal material in just two months. In addition, the classes discussed basic emotions and how to convey them through gestures, movements, gazes, and voice intonation. They learned to observe animals, to notice and highlight the characteristics of their behavior.
"There is much more spiritual development in raising children than in any other aspect of life" - shares local resident Anatoly Karpov, father of four children.
All the residents of the Lubodar kin’s settlement live with this idea. By showing help and support to each other, participating in joint activities, such as women's circles, common men's work to improve the territory of the settlement, the settlers instill in their children an understanding of the need to live in an ecological community.
